About Tina Carroll

For Tina Carroll, art has always been about more than creating something beautiful—it’s about creating an experience that brings people joy. Her artistic journey began at the age of 19, when she discovered the magic of transforming the human canvas through makeup artistry. She quickly fell in love with the smiles, excitement, and confidence her work brought to her clients. That passion continued to grow and evolve, leading Tina to discover her true calling in face and body art in 2000.

Tina has been a professional event entertainer for 26 years. She is the Creative Director and Head Artist of Transformations Entertainment, based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, and also proudly serves the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area on the East Coast.

Tina has had a lifelong passion for the arts and explored many different artistic mediums from an early age. She has received three art awards in three different mediums and was awarded a scholarship while pursuing her Fine Arts degree.

Her talent and expertise as both a makeup artist and face painter have been featured on local television news stations in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Washington, DC, as well as in several face and body art magazines. Tina has been a Face & Body Art Television (FABA TV) Instructor, with filming taking place in Florida. She is also a featured artist and photographer for Ruby Red Paint, Inc.'s step-by-step face painting book, Trip to the Zoo, and has had the privilege of teaching at various face and body art conventions throughout the United States.
